Having a Hard Time...
I am having a difficult time having two different things going on at once. I haven't finished my argumentative paper yet, but had to start research on a whole different topic for a whole different paper. I feel like I am missing something somewhere...that our argumentative paper was due already and I should only be focusing on the research paper or something...It is already hard for me to write papers on humor! I enjoy the topic and find it a lot more interesting than I thought I would, but I don't know where to begin on the topic for the papers. To have two different things going on at once is killing me!
Research Topic
I have been attempting to think of a way to incorporate humor into a research topic for the research paper, but just couldn't do it. I found myself having a very hard time seperating my ideas from my argumentative paper for a whole different type of essay. Whenever I thought of an idea for the research paper, it came directly from an idea I have for the argument paper, so it felt like I was writing two papers on the same exact thing.
I decided to go with the research topic of videogame playing and the positive effects it can have. Instead of forcing myself to research something I had no idea how to research, I wanted to do something that I was actually interested in so it would maybe be a little easier. I have played videogames since I can remember, and have recently seen little videos on my Xbox Live account discussing the positive effects that playing games can have.
I thought it was an important topic because videogames are becoming a way of life now, now that consoles are becoming much cheaper and kids are growing up with them, opposed to them being a "luxury".
As I talk about it on here and with my family, I find that I have more and more things I want to discuss and narrow down for the actual paper.
